Piano Studio of Kandra Stukenborg

 
     I began taking private piano lessons when I was six years old, and I grew to love it more and more.  No one had to pressure me to play or practice.  In fact, whenever I would pass the piano in our home, I would stop and play it, trying to make a melody.  I was intrigued by the piano… and I still am!  I continued taking lessons off and on, all the way through college, and I enjoy playing the piano now more than ever. It was always my dream to be able to pass along to others the same satisfaction and sense of accomplishment I feel when playing the piano. 
 
    I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education, with a major in Music and a minor in English.  I have had experience teaching junior high and high school English in three private Christian schools.  I have also taught private piano lessons for several years, and this is what I desire to focus on in the future. 
 
    I am extremely thankful to all of those who were involved in making sure that I received a good musical education.  I also hold in high esteem my teachers who have allowed me to experience the joy that only comes from music!
